The first and largest tubular ceramic membrane 100000 ton municipal water plant in China has successfully completed water supply

Recently, the ceramic membrane renovation and expansion project of Yiwu Third Water Plant undertaken by Zhejiang Tianxingjian Water Co., Ltd. has been successfully connected to the water supply. This project is currently the largest and first 100000 ton municipal water plant project in China that uses tubular ceramic membrane as the core treatment process. The water supply scale is 100000 tons/day, and the total project area is about 5.5 mu of land. The combination process of floating filter and ceramic ultrafiltration membrane treatment is used. The first phase of the construction includes ceramic ultrafiltration membrane treatment process, covering an area of about 3.3 acres. The upper layer includes ceramic ultrafiltration membrane workshop, dosing room, power distribution room, etc., and the lower layer includes a clean water tank, effluent pump room, inlet booster pump room, etc.

project introduction

The ceramic ultrafiltration membrane of the project adopts the domestically pioneered tank installation, with a total of 20 ceramic membrane tanks. The net water production of each ceramic membrane tank is 5000m ³/d, and the membrane workshop is only over 500 square meters. It has the advantages of large processing capacity, small footprint, simple process and equipment structure, easy use and maintenance, and long service life.

Ceramic ultrafiltration membranes can effectively remove particulate matter from water, almost completely removing bacteria, viruses, two worms, algae, and aquatic organisms. They can reduce the amount of disinfectant added and decrease the generation of disinfection by-products. The turbidity of the treated effluent is low and can be stably controlled below 0.05 NTU, which is one of the most effective technologies to ensure the safety of drinking water. It has outstanding advantages and is the preferred water treatment process and method under the new version of the national "Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water" GB5749-2022.

The project has been highly regarded and anticipated since its planning and construction. After the smooth completion of water supply, several domestic and foreign delegations such as Hebei, Hong Kong, Brazil, etc. have visited and inspected the project site.

According to industry statistics, China's ceramic film market accounts for 1% -3%, far lower than the international market share of 10% -20%. In contrast, the composite growth rate of ceramic membranes has reached 16%, which is higher than the international level, and their application in the water supply field is growing rapidly. Since its establishment 21 years ago, Tianjian Water has always adhered to the modern water treatment concept of "reducing personnel and drugs", "short process", "high quality", and "unmanned operation" as its research and development direction. It focuses on the research and development of modern distributed water supply systems with ceramic membranes as the core processing unit, and has built a Tianxingjian Ceramic Membrane Intelligent Manufacturing Base with a production area of nearly 100 acres, achieving intensive planning.
